"Practical armchairs without supports that rest directly and firmly on the floor, steady despite the fact that they are lightweight and easy to move. The idea comes from the hosiery industry, from the non-slip soles used for children´s socks". This is the concept which Sebastian Herkner (project assistant: Martin Hirth) followed to create the new collection for Moroso.
This decor reminds me of patterns and textures created by one of the many vector graphic editors
A transparent silicon pattern has been printed on fabric to guarantee a perfect non-slip trait.
Separate, removable, very soft and enveloping, covers rest on this structure, like a blanket thrown over the seat
