Not many people know that Turin, home town of the FIAT car industry and host of the winter Olympics in 2006, is actually a hub for experimental and contemporary art and design.

This year especially was a very interestingedition as Paratissima (7-11 November), an event that sees the collaboration of various art forms like art, design, fashion, photography, graphic design and many more, was presented in a location called Ex-MOI, a structure built in 1934 by Umberto Cuzziforthe city’s main fruit and vegetable market (MercatoOrtofrutticoloall'Ingrosso).

Beneath its arcades, a fusion of lights, sounds, images and installations that produced an atmosphere of constant creative research and innovation.
