‘Leggero come una pietra’ (Light as a stone) is one of those gem events you can find in Milan.

Curated by Lorenzo Palmeri and Stone Italiana, it is a series of workshops, concerts, appointments, hosting the most exciting authors from different fields, linked together by the idea that trans-disciplinarity is the key to approach creativity.

 

The initiative is hosted by Stone Italiana (via degli Arcimboldi, 5), a company which has always focused on excellence in terms of materials production – this time has decided to dive  into a new experiment, transforming its beautiful showroom into a catalyzing stage for architects, musicians, designers, industrialists, scientists, artists, all united by what we can call a 'project attitude'. 

 

This year we’ve already seen Ennio Capasa, founder of fashion brand Costume National, and film director David Lynch.

Ennio Capasa’s story has enchanted the audience for his honesty and ability to unveil the man behind the brand. Success and popularity come as a result of a constant effort to challenge himself with different worlds since his young age such as Japan, and new means of expression such as painting and writing.

David Lynch has told us about the power of meditation and how this  can influence imagination, creativity and awareness as an artist.

What really makes Leggero come una pietra a special evening, is not just the quality of guests, but also seeing people flocking there from varied ages and backgrounds, friends of friends, standing or sitting on the floor, just for the pleasure of listening and asking questions surrounded by a very intimate atmosphere.
