"I was asked to re-design a restaurant !! Yes me ! No no, I never did this, and had no idea how to do it. But I love challenges and I love interior design, so there was my chance. I re-did everything, they gave me "carte blanche" but I though that everything needed to be re-done. But they had such a small budget and me such a lack of experience that there was a lot of back and forth. That why I outsourced a few departments. Pre-production had to be done in one month and the renovation in two weeks !!!"

If you go on the Karim Zariffa's projects page, this is the first phrase you can find.

For the Accord restaurant project, designer completely re-did interior: the bar out of barn wood as well, painted the walls mat black, did a funky mirror installations in the bathroom (I think, the most important operation), as well as a concrete counter top, remove an ugly water fountain and replaced it with a big net.

Karim obtained some wood bar lamps from stills and with recycled materials.
