After the great success of last year’s 1st Master in Design Management by 24Ore Business School, this Autumn sees the launch of its second edition, 2013/2014.
Starting on the 18th November, the course is aimed at engineers, architects, designers, economists and marketing graduates with a strong interest in the design sector who wish to be the future managers of a creative studio or consultancy agency.
This full-time course lasts 10 months in total, with 6 months of classroom training and 4 months of internship within a firm, emphasising the importance of on-the-job training as well as the analysis of case studies, targeted exercises, group work and business games.
With 11 modules ranging from basic management to marketing, communication, and dedicated sections on green economy, new digital technologies and eco-sustainability, the course structure is designed to provide students with an all-round training by integrating corporate workshops with visits to design studios, Research and Development companies and the Salone del Mobile/Fuorisalone in Milan.
This year also sees the start of a new workshop called “I Business: My innovative start-up” where students are given a methodology and a set of tools to create their own business model and corporate strategies.
Inner Design, again, will be collaborating with the Master in Design Management through a dedicated workshop called “Inner Design Lab”, a space for students to create and manage a section of the Inner Design Blog by organising interviews, writing articles and networking with colleagues and companies.
The Master in Design Management is held in Italian with compulsory training in Business English.
