2012 Pantone of the year, Tangerine Tango, inspires the first beauty collection of the global color authority PANTONE. In collaboration with beauty retailer Sephora they have set up a mobile pop-up shop.
The ‘Sephora X Pantone Pop-Up Color Shop’ has been designed by the american agency NEVERSTOP and reflects the smashing creativity that distinguishes PANTONE. It is shaped as the iconic Color Guide.
Inside the shop is equipped with fully-functioning mechanized doors that fan out, and sleek and minimalist interior fixtures that feature Tangerine Tango and its harmonized tones.
Everything is designed in detail and user-experience oriented: the front of the shop will also host a digital screen, featuring real-time Twitter feeds hash-tagged “#sephorapantone”.
This good example of unexpected retail environment will be located in Manhattan and Los Angeles this spring.
